“My experience with Active Therapy has been exceptional. They helped secure a custom wheelchair for my mom, enabling her to navigate her environment independently. This advancement has had a remarkable impact on her daily functioning and emotional well-being. The entire staff has been warm and greatly help my mom with daily living. My mom used to be able to move around utilizing a walker but that all changed in November 2024 when she fell and broke her femur. This led to a surgery, inpatient rehab, and I was notified in December that my mom would need to change assisted living facilities since her old facility could not meet her care needs and that's what brought us to Prairie Bluffs Senior Living. In May, I reached out to Active Therapy to see if they could work with my mom so that she could transfer into a car by August 2025, as it was her 90th birthday.
